Apple seems to gain more and more of the public’s attention since the release of the iPhone and iPad. The latest rumors are surrounding the iPad 3 and the next version of the iPhone. Many sources are saying that it could be coming out sooner than expected, citing a fall release for the next version of the tablet device. Information is circulating that the iPad 3 will have a much improved display with resolution far superior to the iPad 2.
However, rumors may say what they will, it is unlikely that Apple will release its next iPad as early as October 2011. If you think about it, the iPad 2 is still a best seller worldwide. In fact the Cupertino company is expected to ship between 12 to 14 million iPads this quarter.
Information is also been going around that Apple is stockpiling iPad 2 components to reduce risk of shortages. All signs point towards Apple increasing iPad 2 production, not slowing it down. Keep in mind that Apple’s latest tablet is currently dominating the market on all fronts, its closest competitors fighting for the scraps it leaves behind.
What do you think? Is it possible that we could see an iPad 3 by this Christmas?
